I really like this piece. the warm/cool contrasts and the brushstrokes (especially on the background) are really wonderful. for some reason her face is disconcerting to me, though. not that it is done poorly, mind you, the technique is excellent, I think it's the level of detail (as opposed to the rest of the painting's lack of detail) is dissonant. My eye keeps gravitating towards her face, hands and shoes, even though the rest of the image is blurry (presumably from movement).
